Draft for legal review. This text is a working draft and has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. It may change before it takes effect.
Fixtitch Technologies Private Limited (“Fixtitch”, “we”) runs the Fixtitch website and mobile apps. They connect customers with nearby repair partners (tailors, cobblers, watch mechanics and spectacle repairers) and with riders who pick up and deliver items. This policy explains what personal information we collect and what we do with it.
Information we collect
- Account details. Your mobile number, which we use for one-time password (OTP) login, plus your name and email address if you give them.
- Location. Your device location, with your permission, to show partners near you and to set pickup and delivery addresses. Riders’ location is shared during active trips, and partners provide their shop location.
- Photos and item details. Photos and descriptions of the items you want repaired.
- Orders and payments. Order history, addresses, amounts, whether you paid online or by cash on delivery, and wallet activity. Online payments are processed by Razorpay; we do not store your full card or UPI credentials.
- Partner and rider details. Shop or rider profile, verification documents we ask for, and the bank or UPI details you give us for payouts.
- Device and usage data. Device type, app version, IP address and error logs, which help us keep the service working and secure.
- Messages. What you send us through the contact form or support.
How we use it
- To verify your account and let you place and track orders.
- To match you with nearby partners and arrange pickup and delivery.
- To process payments, wallet balances, refunds and partner and rider payouts.
- To provide support and resolve disputes.
- To prevent fraud and abuse and keep users, riders and partners safe.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, and to improve the service.
Handover OTPs
We generate one-time codes to confirm each handover between you, the rider and the partner. Share a code only with the person doing that handover, and only when the item changes hands. Fixtitch staff will never ask you for one.
Who we share it with
- Partners see what they need to do the repair: your name, item photos and description.
- Riders see your name, phone number and the pickup or delivery address for the trip.
- Service providers such as Razorpay (payments), SMS and OTP providers, cloud hosting and map services, who process data for us under agreement.
- Authorities, where the law requires it or to protect rights and safety.
- A successor, if Fixtitch is involved in a merger, sale or similar transaction.
We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is active and for as long as needed for legal, tax, accounting and dispute purposes. After that we delete or anonymise it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, or to close your account, by writing to us. You can switch off location or camera permission in your device settings, though some features will then not work. We handle requests as required by applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. No online service is completely secure, so please keep your phone and OTPs private.
Children
Fixtitch is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Website analytics and cookies
Our website may use privacy-friendly analytics that do not use advertising cookies or follow you across other sites.

We may update this policy and will change the date at the top when we do. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app or by email. Our Terms and Conditions also apply.
