These terms govern your use of the Fixtitch website and apps, run by Fixtitch Technologies Private Limited. By creating an account or placing an order you agree to them, to our Privacy Policy and to our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
What Fixtitch does
Fixtitch is a platform that connects customers with independent repair partners (tailors, cobblers, watch mechanics and spectacle repairers) and arranges rider pickup and delivery. Partners carry out the repairs; we provide the ordering, logistics and payment tools.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 and give a mobile number you control. You log in with a one-time password (OTP).
- Keep your details accurate and your phone secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
Placing an order
Choose a nearby partner and their services, add photos and a description of your item, and confirm a pickup address. The price is shown before you confirm. Describe your item honestly, and do not hand over illegal, hazardous or prohibited items. Tell us if an item is unusually valuable or fragile.
Pickup, delivery and OTPs
A rider collects your item and later returns it. Each handover is confirmed with a one-time code that you, the partner or the rider read out. Give a code only to the person doing that handover, at the moment of handover.
Prices, fees and taxes
The total you pay can include the partner’s service price, a delivery fee, a platform fee, an optional express charge and taxes such as GST where they apply. Offers, such as savings on multiple services in one order, are subject to the conditions shown in the app. Prices can change for future orders.
Payments
You can pay online through Razorpay, from your Fixtitch wallet, or in cash on delivery where it is offered. Cash on delivery is paid to the rider when the item is returned, and may also be paid online through a link or QR code the rider shows you. Razorpay and your bank or payment provider apply their own terms to online payments.
Wallets and payouts
- Customers. You can add money to your wallet through Razorpay and use it to pay for orders. Refunds are credited to your wallet. Wallet balance is for use on Fixtitch, earns no interest and is not a bank deposit.
- Partners and riders. Earnings are credited to your wallet as orders or trips complete. Once your balance reaches the minimum payout amount we set, you can request a withdrawal, which we pay out to the bank or UPI details you provide. Payouts are processed manually, so they take time.
- For cash on delivery, the cash a rider collects is debited from the rider’s wallet until it is deposited with us. We may hold or adjust a payout to cover refunds, cash owed or suspected fraud.
Partners and riders
Partners and riders are independent. Partners are responsible for the quality of their work, their licences and their taxes. Riders must handle items with care and follow the handover steps. Partners and riders also accept the onboarding terms given to them when they join.
Acceptable use
Do not place fake orders, misuse OTPs or offers, abuse partners, riders or our team, interfere with the apps or website, or try to copy or reverse-engineer them. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
Your content
You keep ownership of the photos and descriptions you upload and allow us, partners and riders to use them to carry out and support your order.
Damage, loss and our responsibility
We work to make sure items come back safely. If an item is lost or damaged, tell us promptly through the app or by email and we will look into it as set out in our Refund and Cancellation Policy. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing here limits rights you have under law that cannot be excluded.
Changes and ending your account
We may change these terms or the service from time to time and will update the date above. You may stop using Fixtitch at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or the law requires it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so we can try to settle any dispute; otherwise the courts of competent jurisdiction in India will decide it.
